The Küstenbad Neßmersiel located by the sea. This region is part of the Wadden Sea National Park since 2009 and with it a World Heritage Site. From here the popular Watts guides to the islands of Norderney Baltrum be carried out. The sandy beach with adventure playground and restaurant, the ferry port for the Baltrumschifffahrt and the yacht harbor is about 15 to 20 minutes. They have the chance to go fishing, sailing and windsurfing. Especially popular with young and old are also boat trips to the seal banks or mini-cruises in the Wadden Sea National Park. Well-marked bicycle and hiking trails provide an alternative to those, to play sports who are looking not only at the beach recreation.
